Mentorship in SelectUSA's Women in Tech For A Third Consecutive Year

The SelectUSA Investment Summit is a premier platform led by the U.S. Department of Commerce for businesses seeking to expand into the United States. To date, SelectUSA has facilitated over $200 billion in direct foreign investments, creating over 200,000 jobs across the United States and its territories. Held on June 23 to 26, 2024, this year's summit was the largest Investment Summit, hosting 5,000 attendees from 96 international markets, with all U.S. states and territories represented. Among the programs is the Select Global Women in Tech.

The Select Global Women in Tech is a key priority program within SelectUSA that helps introduce international female tech entrepreneurs to the American market by providing support to help them in their investment journey. One of their key programs is their Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT) Mentorship Network, composed of business owners, executives, and subject matter experts across the U.S. startup ecosystem committed to supporting international female-run businesses, particularly from tech companies, who have shown interest in investing in the U.S.

Ines Nasri participated in the SelectUSA Investment Summit for the third year in a row. Highlighting her participation is her continued mentorship in SelectUSA's Select Global Women in Tech Program for the third year running. In this function, she will continue to make a meaningful impact on selected mentees looking to set up their businesses in the United States. In previous years, she has shared her knowledge and experience in digital marketing through various activities and events apart from mentoring, such as SGWIT's Link & Learn Series and various speaking engagements within SelectUSA.

Apart from her continued mentorship in SGWIT, Ines was also engaged actively during the event, including a meeting with the Tunisian trade delegation hosted by Ambassador Hanene Tajouri Bessassi in the Tunisian Embassy in Washington D.C. Here, I was able to connect with startup leaders and changemakers from Tunisia as they prepare to make waves in the U.S. market with innovative and disruptive technology.

During the Investment Summit, Ines also actively attended various talks and symposiums with one of them notably presented by Dr. Jeannice Samani, PhD, MBA, CSM, Innovationalist, a renowned technology leader and a fellow mentor at the SelectUSA Women in Tech Program, celebrated for her contributions in digital transformation.
